Here is a detailed list about the gear I took at Kumano Kodō trail in early spring. The average temperature was 12 °C during the day and 6 °C during the night. The base weight of my backpack was less than 9 kg (everything without water and food). I also carried some instant Ramen, snacks and a guide sheet. In the morning I always started loaded with 2-3 l water as well.
